Description
Bamboo, which is hollow inside and jointed with regular nodes, is as strong as steel. Being the world’s fastest growing plant, it is now considered to be one of the most environmentally friendly and sustainable materials. The bamboo that lives in this Daisy stool comes from the lush green bamboo forests of Bangli, located in the Island of Bali in Indonesia.
The seat is made of twenty pieces of thick bamboo strips resembling petals of a flower and connect to a strong core in the middle. Combining the natural ingredients of fire, water and experienced human hands, the detailed craftmanship is evident. The seat is easily detachable from the steel frame, in consideration to leave a smaller carbon footprint while on its way to its prospective owner.
The earth tone color of bamboo complements any color palette, while the nodes of the bamboo invokes texture. Due to the open design, the Daisy Stool appears not to take up any space at all. The organic shape of this stool is a welcoming element, naturally beautifying and energizing any decor.
